PRINCIPAL

MAREE MONTFORD A.R.A.D (Solo Seal) Registered teacher of Royal Academy of Dance. Maree has over 50 years teaching experience commencing in 1954 after completing all the Royal Academy of Dance examinations as a dancer including solo seal.
Schools have been in Palmerston North, Wanganui and Hastings, now teaching in Auckland.

I believe children are encouraged through ballet to achieve to the best of their ability.
Many with minor disabilities have improved their self confidence through the discipline of ballet and these children are equally as important to the school as those more talented.

Introduction to Dance – age 3 to 5

Examinations

Examinations are optional but encouraged, these are held at the end of each year.

Performance

An annual concert is staged mid year.

Which Program is Suitable for Your Child

Children from 3 to 5 years are introduced to dance with basic movement, and a strong emphasis on musicality and play. From 5 years they begin more ballet steps, and gradually progress through the grades. The students can choose wether they wish to take exam classes. Vocational classes are available for students 11 years onward.
