We had a 100 year flood through the wildlife corridor in the Cornubia Forest park. The feeders in to the creek in the Park ultimately ending up in the Calefornia Creek caused an overflow of extensive dimentions.
The problem seems to be a combination on circumstances, the inadequate design of the Parkview Estate stormwater drain run off, developement in lower areas, vegetation clearing and and exceptional downpour.
Extensive damage occurred to mature and newly planted trees.
